Cinema has always been my first language of emotion. I am, at heart, a devoted cinephile, untouched by the boundaries of language or geography. Telugu, Hindi, English, Korean, Japanese or any other tongue it does not matter. If a story has the power to move, I seek it. And when a film leaves a mark on my soul, I feel compelled to share that experience, passing it from one heart to another.

I turned to writing because I could not make films. Yet the impulse to create cinema never left me. Every story I write carries the pulse of the visual, the rhythm of dialogue, and the sweep of emotion that belongs to the screen. My novels unfold like moving images, shaped by scenes, silences, and moments of revelation, waiting perhaps for the day they may illuminate a theater.

In 2020, I began ShhGupChup, a Telugu podcast devoted to the hidden landscapes of human experience. It listens to the unspoken, gives voice to buried emotions, and reveals the fragile truths people often carry alone. The response from listeners, their stories, their vulnerability, and their trust have deepened my commitment to telling narratives that resonate beyond words.

Fiction offers me the freedom to imagine the impossible, to bend reality, and to explore the unknown. Yet the characters who inhabit my stories are never born from emptiness. They arise from the world around me from the people I encounter, the conversations I witness, the struggles and hopes that define everyday life. Every fleeting expression, every whispered confession, every silent longing finds its way into the souls that walk across my pages.

సినిమాలు నా రక్తంలోనే ఉన్నాయి. భాష అడ్డంకి కాదు, ఎవరైనా “ఇది సూపర్ మూవీ” అని చెప్తే, తెలుగు, హిందీ, ఇంగ్లీష్, కొరియన్, జపనీస్… ఏదైనా చూసేస్తాను. మంచి సినిమా చూసినప్పుడు ఫ్రెండ్స్‌కి, ఫ్యామిలీకి “ఇది మిస్ చేయకండి” అని సజెస్ట్ చేస్తూ ఉంటాను. సినిమాలు తీయలేకపోయాను కాబట్టే రాయడం మొదలుపెట్టాను. నా అన్ని కథలు, నవలలు పెద్ద స్క్రీన్ కోసమే రాస్తున్నాను — దృశ్యాలు మెరిసేలా, డైలాగ్స్ గుండెల్లో పడేలా, ఎమోషన్స్ స్క్రీన్ మీద ప్రతిబింబించేలా.

2020లో ShhGupChup తెలుగు పాడ్‌కాస్ట్ మొదలుపెట్టాను. నిజ జీవితాల్లో దాగి ఉన్న కోణాలు, చెప్పని నిజాలు, భావోద్వేగాల లోతులు, వీటిని గొంతుకలో బయటపెట్టడం దాని లక్ష్యం. వచ్చిన అద్భుతమైన స్పందన, లిసనర్స్ షేర్ చేసిన కథలు, ఎమోషనల్ మెసేజెస్ — అవన్నీ నన్ను మరింత రాయడానికి, మాట్లాడడానికి ఫ్యూయల్ ఇచ్చాయి.

కల్పిత కథలు రాయడం వల్ల నాకు స్వేచ్ఛ ఉంటుంది, ప్లాట్‌ను ఎంత దూరమైనా విస్తరించవచ్చు, ట్విస్ట్‌లు ఎంత బోల్డ్‌గా ఇవ్వవచ్చు. కానీ పాత్రలు? అవి ఎప్పుడూ మన మధ్యే ఉంటాయి. మంచి, చెడు ఏవైనా, నేను మాట్లాడిన వాళ్లు, రోడ్డు మీద చూసిన ముఖాలు, కాఫీ షాపులో విన్న సంభాషణలు, స్నేహితుల కళ్లలో కనిపించిన బాధలు, ఆశలు… ఇవన్నీ నా పాత్రల్లో జీవం పోస్తాయి.
